Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 12, 2026

Main Street Ad Agency ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at mainstreetadagency.com and provides digital marketing services, including Google Ads management, Google Business Profile optimization, and website design and development. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our site, contact us, or engage us to manage your marketing accounts.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you submit our contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, and the contents of your message. All of these fields are required to submit the form.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our site, we automatically collect certain information through the following technologies:

Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our site. Google Analytics collects data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and time spent on each page. It sets cookies (including _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish unique users and sessions. Learn more at Google's Privacy Policy.

UTM Parameters. If you arrive through a marketing link, we capture URL parameters (such as utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign) to understand which channels drive traffic. These are submitted alongside your contact form data if you fill out the form during that visit.

Local Storage. We store your light/dark theme preference in your browser's local storage so it persists between visits. This data never leaves your browser.

Third-Party Fonts

We load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser requests these fonts, Google may collect your IP address and browser information. See Google Fonts Privacy for details.

Google API Services and Client Account Data

As part of delivering our services, we connect to marketing and analytics accounts that our clients own and control — including Google Ads, Google Business Profile, and Google Analytics. We access these accounts only after the account owner explicitly grants us permission through Google's secure OAuth consent process. We never ask for, store, or attempt to use account passwords.

What we access. Depending on the services a client engages us for, we may access advertising campaign data and performance metrics (Google Ads), business listing information such as hours, categories, photos, posts, reviews, and messages (Google Business Profile), and website traffic and conversion measurements (Google Analytics).

How we use it. We use this access solely to provide the marketing services our clients have hired us to perform — for example, creating and optimizing ad campaigns, updating and improving a Business Profile, and measuring and reporting on results. We do not use Google user data for advertising of our own, and we do not sell it.

How we store and protect it. Where data is retained, it is limited to what is necessary to perform and report on our services and is protected using industry-standard safeguards. Access is restricted to authorized personnel who need it to do their work.

Limited Use. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not transfer or use this data except as necessary to provide and improve the services the account owner has requested, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with appropriate notice.

Revoking access. A client can revoke our access at any time through their Google Account security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions) or by contacting us, and we will promptly discontinue access.

How We Use Your Information

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following third-party service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate our business:

We may also disclose information if required by law or if we believe such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or ensure the safety of our users.

Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained in our CRM for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected, typically for the duration of any business relationship and a reasonable period afterward. Data accessed through Google APIs is retained only as long as needed to provide and report on our services, and is deleted when a client relationship ends or access is revoked. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's default retention settings.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing us at mail@mainstreetadagency.com. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction with specific data privacy laws (such as the CCPA in California), you may have additional rights under those laws.

Cookies and Opt-Out

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Disabling cookies will not affect the core functionality of our site.

Children's Privacy

Our site and services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
